Baymoor & Bridgerton

Happy Sunday!

I hope your week was a blast. Mine was so-so. My daughter and I were involved in a fender bender on Wednesday, taking her to school. Naturally, we were shaken up, but everyone involved is physically fine.

How’s your weekend going? I’d love to hear about it, so comment below, please! I decompressed with Alexandria House’s latest release Personal (highly recommend), some Bel Air, and binged season two of Bridgerton. Regency romance isn’t normally my thing, but I am enjoying the series immensely. Um, forget about the Duke and Daphne! The Viscount and Miss Sharma? Whew! I wasn’t ready for all that chemistry! I was on the edge of my sofa and my nails are complete trash thanks to their steamy, spirited interactions, lol. His grumpiness and her fierceness reminded me of the push and pull between Casey & Sidra in Vivienne’s garden. Yowzers! Also, Grant & Divina. Another thing I like about the series are the renditions covered by a string quartet. Hearing Rihanna’s “Diamonds” reminded me of Max & Georgie’s dance scene in the moonlight from The Farmer & The Belle. Le sigh.

Speaking of Baymoor, I’ll be sharing a little of my latest WIP soon. Man, it’s great to be back visiting dreamy Cinnamon Farms and cozying up at the Comfort Table Cafe. In this adventure, you’ll find out how Guy’s adjusting to his new town (psst, he’s on Raymond’s radar), if there’s more to Tavish than simply being Max’s foreman, and if Ingrid is willing to sacrifice her hard-earned happiness for the greater good. Also, the Spring Chickens have joined Tik Tok. Heaven help us all…

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

D. A. Young
