Chapter 10

“I’m so glad that I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

UPDATE:

I know it’s been quiet on this end and you know that’s normally not the case as we head toward a release. It pains me to say this but I’m postponing this adventure for a little bit longer. I’m in the last round of edits but my attention has been required elsewhere due to an emergency situation for the last week. Hopefully I’ll be back on track by the end of next week.

I’ll continue to keep you posted❤️

Hello!

I just love that Anne of Green Gables quote. IMO, the ‘er months go by way too fast. I walked into Target last week and started hyperventilating when I spied the Christmas decorations. Already? Goodness, can I gorge myself on turkey and stuffing first?? I swear these holidays need to stay in their own lanes. This season is proving to be such a contradiction for me. Our family has two precious newcomers, my identical twin granddaughters! They’re just about three months and as the weather grows cooler, I want blanket days with all the baby cuddles and snuggles…while my projects side-eye the hell outta me, lol. I’m trying to declutter my world and slow down to savor these moments but everything around me is speeding up. A new balancing act is definitely required to restore some order.

Listen, while I do love this time of the year, I also recognize it may affect others in a less positive way. To those that may be / are suffering from seasonal depression, I’m thinking of you and sending love and light your way. We never truly know what others are going through and should always be kind. What if you were standing next to someone that was doing everything in their power not to fall apart? I saw this quote online from We The Urban. It was so perfect and inspirational that I had to share (first tear up a little) because it is honestly my most heartfelt wish for all of us.

“I hope the remainder of your year feels gentle, fulfilling, and peaceful. After all of the transition this year, you deserve it.”

Have a great weekend!
